The strategy for losing weight that actually works (4 steps)

 

I don't wanna bore you with unnecessary intro to this blog, so let's cut straight to the chase:

1. Caloric deficit

To lose weight, you need to be in a caloric deficit.
But
 
• Instead of calorie restriction
• Focus on time restriction
 
It's a lot harder to control the amount of calories you eat than it is to control the timing of when you eat.
Start with a 12-hour eating window and then work your way to 8.
 

2. Active lifestyle

Make your daily life more active by going on regular walks or by participating in various physical activities, such as:
 
• Hiking
• Running
• Riding a bike
• Playing some sport you name it....
 
Having an active lifestyle is by far the best way to burn calories, and it's the biggest hack to getting into shape (hence why I promote it so much).
 

3. High-Protein Diet

Having a high-protein diet will
 
• Boosts your metabolism
• Increase your muscle mass
• Improve your strength and bone health
 
Plus it will fill you up, so you'll be less likely to eat junk.
Animal-based protein is superior to the plant-based protein.
Base your diet around red meat and eggs.
 

4. Resistance training

Resistance training is a must if you wanna lose weight and build a great physique.
Combining kettlebell training (lower body) and calisthenics/gym (upper body) got me the best results, and that's what I recommend you to do as well.
 
Here's the workout split I did:
 
• Monday: Gym/calisthenics
• Tuesday: Kettlebells
• Wednesday: rest
• Thursday: Gym/calisthenics
• Friday: Kettlebells 
• Weekends: rest
